These are weeds growing on a rice field. The field was still empty waiting to be cultivated. This is the reason why they thrive. When the planting season starts they could not be seen already since the field will be covered with water most of the time.
I think this is one of my best work on a flower. I took the flower pot and positioned it on a stool and mount my camera to a tripod. This is the first time that I used a tripod on a flower. I guess there is really a difference in terms of sharpness.
This shot puts me into a scene that is full of mystery and suspense. I am not sure what image will come next. Is it the image of Count Dracula in an tropical forest or a high flying broomstick with Harry Potter on it. The tree trunks really sets the mood here, with the setting sun that looks like a fiery eye slowly waking up. Chills!
The water in this irrigation canal made some help in putting colors on the foreground. But it could be nicer if the water is high enough to get more reflections from the sky and a longer shadow cast.
Can we really differentiate the hues of dawn and that of dusk? Maybe. Maybe not. However, what I am sure is that they always amaze me when the sun is almost kissing the horizon.
I never thought were included in this shot until I post-processed the photo. Not only that Eno (Beagle) is on the middle of the frame but also Micah (Jack Russel). Just have fun looking for him on the photo. They are my photo buddies. 🙂
You can never have the same scene on the same location on the same time on a different day. So, it could never be a boring scene to wake up on and took some shots.
Took this photo on the second day of our team-building. The lens I used is a 300mm which I think is very limiting since there are other elements that I could have included. I was contemplating to do long-exposure but time doesn’t allow me.
Took this photo in an island in the Philippines, The subject should be the mangrove on the foreground but after some post-processing, it turned out that the background is more beautiful. The sky displays all the colors in the spectrum.
It’s nice to see the separation of colors in this landscape. Taken in the golden hours of the day in a remote seaside that only campers can appreciate.
